Director, Contract Sales


Stickley Contract, a division of 115 year old, L. & J.G. Stickley, was established in 2010 to meet the growing need for high quality contract furnishings in a variety of sectors, including hospitality, education, corporate office, government, healthcare and more. From inspiration to installation, Stickley Contract accommodates a broad range of projects. As a part of our growth strategy, we are seeking an outstanding Director, Contract Sales to add to our team.

 In this newly created position, the Director, Contract Sales, will be responsible for all activities related to creating the strategy which drives Contract sales, implementing plans and achieving related business targets.



  • Create the strategic plan to drive contract sales, profitability, and market share
  • Meet or exceed Contract sales goals, using industry knowledge, contacts and diverse sales team
  • Build relationships with customers and industry partners
  • Lead market research and competitive analyses by monitoring and analyzing trends of key industry competitors
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to develop and manage an integrated market strategy including trade shows, advertising, catalogs, digital strategies (email campaigns, website, SEO, etc.)
  • Collaborate with design, engineering and procurement teams to help continuously improve product offerings
  • Build, develop and lead a team capable of carrying out the Contract Sales Team strategies and tactics



  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Marketing, Business Management or related field
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in marketing/advertising and related functions
  • Ability to plan and manage at both strategic and operational levels
  • Track record of developing and implementing results-oriented, financially responsible marketing plans
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a results-driven, team-oriented environment
  • Excellent time-management, project management and organizational skills
  • An inspiring and motivating leader capable of demonstrating strong communication with excellent written, presentation, oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Possess excellent judgment and be able to work in a changing environment
