Web Developer

General Description/Purpose:

The Web Developer is responsible for coding and modifying our company's websites, from layout to function-. assisting the Digital marketing manager to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation. This job will be in a dynamic environment working with some of the most talented coworkers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Translate functional requirements into technical design by converting work flow information into web
  • Establish development architecture for the creation of a website and/or a web based applications Debug code prior to deployment
  • Identify potential issues and deliver solutions
  • Troubleshoot and escalate issues as appropriate
  • Maintain existing code base as well as develop and/or enhance web applications
  • Confirms project requirements by reviewing program objective, input data, and output requirements with supervisor
  • Writing and maintaining technical specifications

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field of study or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5 years' experience developing and maintaining transactional and interactive websites and understanding of web application development processes
  • Proficiency with HTML(5), CSS(3), JavaScript
  • Should have proven NET experience as well as a solid understanding of Object Oriented Design and Programming
  • Knowledge of web technologies, protocols, and tools
  • Experience and understanding of working with responsive (RWD) and dynamic frameworks.
  • Experience integrating web services and API's and knowledge of web performance.
  • Knowledge of SEO implementation best practices.
  • Ability to effectively execute project timelines and balance multiple projects at once
  • Well-developed communication skills including ability present ideas and designs to a group for critical analysis
